Osteoporosis Treatment › Services
Osteoporosis is a disease in which the bones become fragile and are susceptible to fractures, especially in the wrist, spine and hip areas. The disease is easily diagnosed with a diagnostic test known as a Bone Density Exam. College Station Family Medicine Center is fortunate to have its own bone scan in office and a physician that is a member of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry to read and interpret the results. Treatment options are available once the results are determined and the patient's needs are accessed.
